Lisa Munson
(Owner-Head Coach)
Lisa has been a Nevada resident for the past 35 years. As a
graduate from the University of Nevada Reno she holds a
Masters degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
Lisa has worked with children and their families for the past 15
years and is the owner/director of Fundamentals Preschool.
Lisa has coached local youth cheerleading squads for many
years leading them to the National Competition at the Walt
Disney Wild World of Sports complex in Florida. In addition to
her attention to detail, she brings a wealth of knowledge for the
implementation of age appropriate material for competitive
cheerleading.

Krystal Munson
(Co-owner-Head Coach Twisters Platinum)
Krystal is an NCA certified cheer coach as well as a UCA
certified instructor. She has coached all ages of cheerleaders
from a 9 year old Pop Warner team, which she took to Nationals
in Orlando, Florida to coaching Reno High School J.V. since
2006. Krystal is CPR and First Aid certified, a certified
performance and high school judge, a former Reno High School
cheerleader, UNR cheerleader and a UCA instructor.

Shelley Shepard
(Head Coach Twisters Silver)
Shelley has been in the All Star Cheer Industry for over 7 years.
Before relocating to Reno, Shelley and her husband Tom owned
Maximum Velocity All Stars, a succesful well known program in
Salem Oregon. Shelley cheered on Maximum Velocity's 2007
Worlds Team, as one of the first gyms in Oregon to EVER take
a team to Worlds. Shelley also has spent time coaching HIgh
School Cheerleading in Salem . Shelley is USASF Credentialed
levels 1-5, AACA Certified, First Aid and CPR Certified, a
certified performance judge, and a member of the OCCA.
Shelley has coached 13 National Champion Teams and is
excited to help take Nevada to the next level.

Tom Shepard
(Assistant Coach Twisters Silver)
Tom has been involved in the cheer industry for five years. Tom
is an excellent tumbling coach that enjoys helping cheerleaders
reach their potential. In his past gym he did weekly tumbling
classes with all the highschools in the area to help them reach
their tumbling goals. Tom is also experienced partner stunting.

Ellie Dunn
(Head Coach Mini Thunder)
Ellie has been coaching our Mini team for one year. She has
two girls ages 5 and 8 that are also on her team. The Mini team
competed last year and Ellie did an amazing job!
